Welcome to the photograph section of the Turner family website. I spent 5 years of winter evenings scanning all of our old chemical pictures to get up to the year 2000 when we completely switched to digital cameras.

I have organized the database into two sections, namely an "Album" section which contains collections of photographs based upon themes such as "Boating" and a "Chronology" section based purely on the date a picture was taken if I know it. The collection is a work in progress as I continue to edit caption information to help identify the photograph content more accurately.  I continue to find photographs filed under the wrong date so I am sure there are many more yet to be identified. If you see an error please email me so I can fix it.

There are currently 13,110 photographs on this site.  The photographs displayed are at reduced resolution for Internet browsing but if you would like the high resolution original file of any picture please let me know and I would be pleased to email it to you......... Ian
