Beti is first and foremost a family person!  As wife to Ian, she finds herself roped into all sorts of house and garden projects, usually as "go-fer". As mother to Janice and Stephanie, she finds herself babysitting the grandchildren on many occasions - but as the grandkids are delightful, she doesn't refuse as often as she should! As Mom to Dominic, she gets to drive him to his various commitments - guitar lessons, tennis, soccer, baseball, and to play with his friends. Her favorite time with Dominic is when she can sit and read with him in the evenings.

Beti is also a committed Volunteer - and does a lot for the local church - too much according to Ian!  At church she is the Clerk, which means she attends monthly meetings of the Executive Board, takes the minutes, prepares the Agenda, and presides if the Moderator is unable to. She is also the editor of the church monthly newsletter, the Community Connection, but she will soon be resigning as editor, because she feels herself being drawn to other areas of need. The church has just joined a program called IHN - Interfaith Hospitality Network, which provides overnight accommodation and meals for "guests" who are unfortunate enough to be homeless, but who are trying to get their lives back on track. As one of nine churches currently in the local network, we will host the guests every ninth week. Beti has offered to provide dinner one evening for the guests during their stay in Stratham.

Beti's business, Questra Graphics, continues to do well in web page design and publishing, and she has found a niche developing and maintaining websites for local Real Estate offices. She enjoys visiting homes that are for sale to photograph them, but is not good at managing the marketing side of her business!
